Hi, my name is Emerald. I’m a transgender woman and I’m in a dire situation right now. I’m currently homeless and I need your help. 

New housemates moved into my former home, and I soon learned that they were verbally and physically abusive. Their abusiveness forced me to re-experience childhood abuse and triggered near-catatonic states in me that lasted entire days.

In public I have to constantly defend myself from those who want to attack and threaten me verbally, physically and sexually. Because of this, a safe living space is absolutely vital for my survival.

On top of all this, I have not been able to find employment for many months. I am working through anxiety issues stemming from persistent workplace harassment, including the direct loss of a job due to my gender presentation. I am hard at work learning how to be an employed person all over again.

There are many ways you can help, and I would be eternally grateful for any and all kinds of assistance. Your donation will make the difference in my survival. Any amount you can give is greatly appreciated.
